Heineken, in its 2025 full-year results release (11 February 2026): "Taken together, through the productivity step-up, ongoing operating company optimisation, and the transition to MMOs we expect to reduce our global workforce by approximately 5,000 to 6,000 roles over the next two years." Outgoing chief executive Dolf van den Brink, on CNBC's Squawk Box Europe the same day, as CNBC reports it: the cuts came "partly also due to AI, or let's say digitization." ... "That's a very big part of our EverGreen 2030 strategy, with around 3,000 roles moving to our business services, where technology digitization in general, and AI specifically, will be an important part of ongoing productivity savings."
